I need to put that trick on a Post-it note and stick it to my monitor. Because I can NEVER remember it in the game. I just keep right- and left-clicking each compartment, back and forth, until I finally hit on the correct combination.

Altho at this point I have enough crew to keep a bunch on damage control all the time. Plus my newb trainee engineering officer what I bought - er, recruited - a coupla patrols ago. I figger I'll let him get all experienced up and then maybe I can let my current chief move on so's Commander will stop nagging me about it.
