No arguments from me on this. While I don't consider BP to be "evil", at the same time, it appears that BP acted very irresponsibly. It can be argued, and probably will, whether the government should have allowed or not allowed BP (and the other oil companies) to act irresponsibility. But government action/inaction should not recuse BP from their responsibilities for acting... well.. responsibly.
