lol indeed, though in all honesty if you mannage to hunt and kill several battle ships, aircraft carriers, and heavy cruisers, and spend three years generally grinding the Royal Navy to dust, I wouldn't mind seeing an alternative outcome, even if it is simply GB brokering a peace deal, ... that way you can at least see your effory rewarded, and having browsed Luth's the problems of command I would not mind being able to sentence a moaning crewmember or two to "the silent treatment" or sleeping on the floor ... te he he he

No, if you sink the unique ships (battleships are some) once, they won't spawn again.
There are still bugs related to spawning, but spawn points in themselves are nothing evil, just a relatively cheap solution to place ships in a "safe area" in the harbor, where they shouldn't hit walls, etc. The game engine needs that information.
