Crossing my fingers for central Iowa tonight.

I do not like this time of year.
So you're not going to stand on your roof and take home video for us?

That said, best of luck to you poor suckers stuck in tornado alley!
One thing I do like about this time of year is the energetic storms we get. The tornado watches tend to cost me some sleep if they come in late enough at night (and if the storm is passing close enough to where I live). But if we're safe from that threat I like to crack a window open, turn out the lights, and listen to the thunder peal away across the plains. Awesome.

That tornado that hit us in 86, it was amazing how many people were on their roofs, taping the tornado!

I dare say Reed Timmer is already chasing them. One day I will do the same I hope, but damn I feel sorry for the people who are in the firing line.

We're probably going to get storms on the weekend, considering it's been knocking thirty celsius today, they will probably be impressive.
