Well,
Paradox gave a modder's group access to the source code for Hearts of Iron II; the group produced the favorably reviewed Arsenal of Democracy, which Paradox released earlier this year. I'm not sure Ubisoft is ready to make the same sort of deal, though. Now, if I had a few hundred million dollars in the bank I might shell out some money for the SH 5 code, but I don't. Pablo

 However if Subsim was to acquire the rights and there was no DRM then I would pay as much as $200. Not gonna happen though!
