It's good you tested it! I only got to test it on two systems so stay sharp for bugs Also, see that the markers are customizable. I still need some new icons...

Version 1.1 coming in 15 min

Default After doing some thinkin'

I'm wondering if you can use the same program logic to insert a screenshot. i.e. Shift-F11 gives a screenshot and places it in a specific folder etc (albeit it's a .bmp file). IIRC there's a date/time stamp too which could be linked to the sunk ship date/time stamp if you get my drift. The result would be your sunk ship icon on the map and a screenshot (if taken) associated with the google map popup info for the icon. Yes? No?

Default Oops forgot to mention.

I had sunk 3 ships in a harbour on the far side of the Bungo Straits. Google maps had two of them on land as I guess the harbour has expanded over the years since WWII. The editing function made it easy to just grab and slide those two icons onto water and then 'save' and good to go. Handy for adjustments.

The SH Log coordinates are in degrees and minutes but no seconds. So they're not very precise. SH also uses a weird world projection and therefore some errors/distortion could appear.

Regarding the screenshots there's one problem: how do they get uploaded to some public server?

Default Pics

There is an option for pics in the dialogue boxes but not sure how they are uploaded or whatever can't try it at the moment.

On a seperate note. Can you do for aircraft contacts what you've done for ship sinkings?
i.e.
IF string in log = "aircraft spotted"
THEN extract date/time/lat-long from log and put it and aircraft icon in
KML
ENDIF
Just a suggestion.

A typical contact report log entry (other than intel on convoys/task forces - which is already in 1.2) doesn't provide the coordinates.

Code:
[Log Entry 94]
Type=0
EntryText=Aircraft spotted, sir! Bearing 223! Long range!
Date=19420626
Time=1449
Categ=5
I have an ideea though. I'll see if I can get anthing and report back

Ok, I've added an option to display downed aircraft and also animation support / interactive time slider that works with Google Earth.

Wish I had access to capaign wide data like in SH5.

To get more data I'll be looking into replay info. But it's binary bleh. I'll see what I can do.
