Yes the purely geometrical method is interesting, although its direct utility in DW is somewhat dubious. Tma in DW is much much easier to do (passive tracking), even with all its limitations to doing the same thing in SH 3/4/5.

A perfect dot stack alignment in DW is no guarantee that the solution you obtain is the correct one. You still have to eliminate all "non solutions" that give a dot stack alignment.
