Hmm I have a fast rig and nvidia card but better fps is always nice, I think it would be a good idea to update if the Darkwraith ui works with 1.2 anyone know ? first hand, also the new w_clear environment when released is going to be awesome.

I think it is but I really cant say for sure. If I was you I'd pop over to the mods section and see what is and isn't compatable.

I should apologise as well for not being clearer in my earlier post, when I said

"I would - if you don't then many of the mods wont work."

I was thinking of any future mods.

Frame rates have increase inside the sub. When stationed at the base, I can not even walk around. That is still a mess.

Depth to keel working fine and return to course is working fine. Has anyone had any weird experiences with crew morale on the new patch?

There is some hard word out there about SH5 and the patch but i think we need to remeber thats there is only one serious subsim dev. out there so we need to be abit nicer and help with creative critisim rather than just sinking it...right?

I salute your intentions and wholeheartedly agree

However - did you bother to read this thread before you posted?

rsvette12 was asking whether to update or not - nothing more

Ahh fair play matey - I wouldn't worry about the vibes, there are a lot of people here who are more interested in the protection than the game. They tend to come in and bash the game every now and then.

The game needs improving but it's not bug ridden, unplayable, etc etc, after a while you'll be able to wade through the chaff to get to the important stuff.

Hope you get your problem sorted - I hear that Steam tends to take a while to patch games , so I wouldn't worry just yet.

Oh and welcome to Subsim

So im back in the game no problem. Been playing since first Silent Hunter. The Modders are great! And I would guess that UBI takes alot of Good stuff from them (good critisim)

Do I need to start a new campaign with the new patch, or just return to port before I install?
