Default There Are Enough People Here

Why are we diddling around talking amongst ourselves? We should band together as a pi$$ed off group of consumers & do something to contact somebody at UBI. The Shareholders would be a start in my opinion. This game is a rip off in the fact that they release an unfinished product, expect Subsim to fix it & then look the other way when the release a patch that neither fixes most of the problems & then screws up the mods that have been made. Come on isn't there something or somebody we can band together & fight to?

6-Warrantee Limitation
The User recognises expressly that he uses the Multimedia Product at his own risk.
The Multimedia Product is provided as is. The User is responsible for any costs of repairing and/or correcting the Multimedia Product.
To the extent of what is laid down by the Law, Ubisoft rejects any warrantee relating to the market value of the Multimedia Product, the User's satisfaction or its capacity to perform a specific use.
The User is responsible for all risks connected with lost profit, lost data, errors and lost business or other information as a result of owning or using the Multimedia Product.
As some legislations do not allow for the aforementioned warrantee limitation, it is possible that it does not apply to the User.
This is from the Silent Hunter 4 License. I expect something similar to be in 5 (don't know since I didn't buy it yet). Maybe someone can post it so we can have a look. If it's the same, all you can do is noise.
I wonder what are the legislations that not allow such limitation?

There is only one message that gets through. DO NOT BUY THE GAME! Anything else amounts to making sure you close your sub's screen door before you submerge.

You don't know what your talking about Old man.... Be gone from the SH5 forums! Go back to whence you came!

Honestly though, SH5 doesent like you, you dont like SH5, so why are you here? No fleet boats in this forum.....

None of that now... RR has an opinion, he's got just as much right to post here as you do.

He's right, though... I'm sure the Ubisoft exec's care only for profits. Whether they're smart enough to look in the long term, or they're just looking for short term products... well, I fear we already know the answer to that question.

You are not in the position to decide who is allowed to be here and who doesn't. Fortunately ...

Ahh well, he wants to run and gun from the hip and keep moving, he can do so. He will get my opinion each time. You guys don't like either, oh well....

I respected him in SH4, but now see the true person that is RR.

I agree - the game needs work for sure, but it does what it says on the tin.

I said in another thread - I've not seen so much wailing and gnashing of teeth since Lady Diana died.

You think I am pissed off?

I am one of the most happiest Ubisoft customers, no trouble with DRM, crashing, slow FPS. My game rocks, and when I imagine going back to SH4 or SH3, I think it would be a crime against my own humanity.

Check my posts, I have enjoyed modding, playing in wolfpacks, making shots from 4km away with 100% realism.

SH3, SH4 will be less and less played, SH5 will be more and more played. Its a simple fact the old brass of SH3, SH4 refuse to swallow. I think the fleet boat guys are pissed off that they didn't get fleet boats again and decided to rip up SH5 before it was even announced.

My life doesn't revolve around patches, fixes and video game politics, like some of the others here, I just have the luxury of enjoying the forums during my work day.... If I sound angered, well, call it more like annoyed and disappointed. I had a lot of respect for RR in the past, seeing how he goes about business now is a real shame.

SH5 is certainly worth buying......

Honestly, I don't think Gimpy was referring to you matey. I think he meant the general hysteria in this forum ATM. That's certainly what I meant in my reply.

I propose a new setup for the SH5 forums.

Silent Hunter 3 - 4 - 5
> Silent Hunter 5
>> Silent Hunter 5
>> Mod workshop
>> Multiplayer matchup
>> Ubi sux

Would clean things up nicely.
