I play realistically, and my usual tonnage-per-patrol varies between 10K to 25K. Sometimes I get nothing at all, sometimes I've gotten quite fortunate and scored over 50K on a patrol.
I should also point out that, once it turns mid-'42, my tonnage starts taking a nose-dive. And by late '43 - early '44, I count myself lucky if I just make it out-and-back alive and in one piece. |

the most tonnage I've sunk in 1942 in a IXB.
the power of 22eels and escorts that don't have the improved ASDIC yet is a bit of dynamite-fishing ![]() in 1944 I usually stayed away from convoys or shot from a (presumably) safe distance of 4,000m. sinking lone coastal-freighters makes you proud then .....
