Basically: "We've been paid by you, we've shackled you with DRM, now we're gonna keep stringing you along for months constantly promising (but never delivering) to fix bugs and improve things while instead shifting our attention to the new Shawn White Snowboarding Robust Manual".

From Babel Fish:

We did not have on release for Monday or Tuesday hoped, unfortunately fold now. As soon as I have new date, I let it know you. Many greetings, Annick

Bottom line, it ain't gonna happen today...

From another thread...

Obviously they have found some issues with the fixes that make it inelligible for release. Do you really think they get up every morning thinking of ways to upset you?

Both Subsim.com and the Ubi forums are already full of clever posters talking about how the new patch will probably be full of new bugs. So when they take some extra time to try to make sure this doesn't happen what is the reaction? People start complaining that they can't get a patch that clearly wasn't ready for release.

You can't have it both ways people. Either you can roast Ubisoft for rushing the game out in an incomplete fashion, or you can roast them for not rushing out a patch that would be in the same condition. Which is it?

Think it over and get back to me.

I think im not agree with this one, sorry mate. Because they shouldnt give a date if they cant do or make it! This is like to show the food to the dog and make him hungry but later take the food back before he eats!!! no need to say we are the dog, playing human is the UBI and food is patch
common!

anyway we all know that they didnt test the game or play.. i dont think so to be honest!!!! they just did it and served it!!!! and now they are playing with us!!!!

Obviously some people do, in fact judging by the flooding of "patch" posts, a lot do! Falsely, might i add.

I'm sure they had the best intentions about giving a date of release....so they should apologise for giving out this date and rescind immediately?
And i think they have better things to do than play with their gaming customers! Seriously...

As indicated above, bad Ubisoft (?) for giving a release date and then having to push that back because as J.C.C. said it wasn't obviously ready for release.
NOT bad Ubisoft.

Stop the flaming people, it's a fact of life, patch is late coming, deal with it.
Patience is a virtue.
How many other games out there based on different genres have had patches delayed, and worse, not released at all.
Be thankful that you are even getting a patch update at all!

There's no pleasing some people. No wonder Ubi stays silent on a lot of things.

Yeahp. Ubi just found it doesn't have a permanent connection to the developers!

If they released and sold the game when it was complete we wouldn't need a patch now would we?... doh!

But that's not the case, so let's not imagine or dream or reminisce about what should have happened,
hindsight is a luxury,
here we are, awaiting a patch update....
nothing wrong with that, plus, it's reality.
