If you are aiming manually, i.e. through the bino's, you will notice the crosshair turns red only when you are above the target. In my ignorance, I would imagine that this may be something to do with it.......
I also have the same problem, the gunners seem to hit the planes when they are climbing or banking away after attacking the boat |
