Essentially, all bets are off until after Patch 1.2. Nobody really knows what the Stock game will behave like relating to this particular problem, or anything else, until the Patch is released (about this time next week
 ). The need for a Mod to improve sinking mechanics may not be necessary. I know that given the track-record, that doesn't sound likely
