Lol....it's not an April Fools? Really? Superb!

To Paraphrase Arthur C. Clarke: "I don't know what format Silent Hunter 6 will be on, but Silent Hunter 7 will be a console exclusive."

PS: Am I the only one who likes the crappy green font? I think it's ace.

A lot of posters were hoping a new developper would produce a subsim to compete with Ubisoft. There you go: "Naval Assault: The Killing Time". DRM free also...enjoy..

p.s. goood one ZeInfidel.

LOL,the Eurogamer screenshots are awesome. Like the Type VII Conning Tower with American Flag, and the surface-swimming torpedo.

Everyone is laughing and that's great. I hate to rain on the parade but I wonder what this will mean for PC sub sims if a console sub sim is an enormous hit and sells like hotcakes? Will Ubisoft just cut to the chase?

It could also go the other way, Artech now have some of the elements of a naval sim here however arcadey in this XBox implementation, although they developed the rather cheesy sim-lite "Das Boot" PC VGA game they also developed Megafortress for 360 Pacific which was fairly hardcore and a good game, so who knows maybe they could take this and turn it into a PC sim as a challenger to Ubisoft?
