All the best.

Good luck with it!

Can't say I have ever even though about natural treatments, seeing every standard drug fail to help, I can't really think how fish oil would make any difference Besides, it tastes like crap.

Ah, but doesn't the condition warrant to give it a try? If it helps, I doubt you will be complaining about the taste much longer.

Since it's something you're stuck with, throw everything you can at it.

Seriously man, try fish oil. It doesn't have to be in liquid form that doesn't taste very good, it's also in capsules and in foods. Also use lots of olive oil etc. in cooking. Eat french fries, they have grease in them. I once went for some time by only putting cheese or something on the bread and no butter, made my knees and joints sort of freeze up. You need the oils etc. to 'lubricate' your joints. I'm surprised your doctor hasn't told you about this.

But then again you told earlier that you get water in your knees/joints? That I'm not sure what to do about. I sometimes get 'puffiness' and swelling in my knees when I overwork my knees at the gym but it usually goes away after I let them rest for awhile.

That's part of the disease. It's an auto-immune disease, so the fluid is caused by your own body attacking the fluid bag thingies in your joints which then damages the bones, which then agitates the joints and causes even more fluid to build up. There are drugs that should dry the joints, preventing the fluid to build up but those never worked for me.

As for the oil thing, I eat pretty greasy food most of the time, so that should be covered.

EDIT: Oh yeh, been having little fever most of the day.

Take it easy and chill out and remember to drink fluids. I would still recommend the fish oil in some form, it has the oils and also vitamins and nutrients in a better form then your average greasy not-so-healthy food.

Oh right, forgot this.

Anywho, after the first 2-3 days of slight fever doing a rollercoaster and some mild headaches there's been no side effects. And most importantly, almost no pain on the joints. Now for the 2nd "fill-up", why the heck it has to be at 8am.

I had been meaning to ask, but here they say "no news is good news". Glad the side effects subsided.

I take it your not a fan of early mornings?

remember to drink it rather than rub it in unless you want every cat in Finland to be your friend/dinner
