To both of you thank you for your help. I agree that it is most likely a registery problem. last night Iagain tried to deinstall the game and it stopped at the same point telling me that i currently running the game. This can not happen becuase I manulayy removed the game from my computer. The DVD of the game will not let install or remove the game.

I'll try the other forum. Again, thanks for your help.

Did you try the uninstall/install in safe mode? Try doing an install in save mode, then if that works, then uninstall normally and reinstall.

Once you delete the game manually, you also delete the information needed to uninstall it.

You could try using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. The page talks about removing Microsoft Office, but the utility works for all programs.
