As i said above, saying something doesnt fix anything, and saying nothing is worse, we're a month or so into silent hunter and the drm-complaining people (Who seem to not know that these complaints wont make a difference, which is why i rightly refer to some of the more loud ones as "Idiots") havent slowed down in their bile-spreading at all.

I just want to speak up and make sure that everyone knows that there is a dissenting voice in the forum, and i wouldnt use such harsh language if this wasnt the 5th thread i've had to do this in.

Listen, its okay to voice your dissent.

But do not claim everything is okay. I am tired of people's selfish attitude that just because they don't have any problems with the DRM, it must be okay. Fact is, for the second time in 2 weeks, there has been a prolonged outage of Ubi's authentication servers (confirmed by UK service rep).. and now we learn that the first outage may have in fact been due to Ubi's own server problems, not a DOS attack which they were so quick to blame. Just because things are fine in your little universe doesn't mean that everyone else should just suck it up and take whatever is rammed up their rear end.

And BTW, who cares if Ubi listens or not. People are complaining to make their feelings known and so that maybe others will not make the same mistake (referring to people who bought the game and can't play it).. Go check out the Ubi forums. Again, if you didn't have any problems, great here's a cookie But that doesn't justify this system.

PS - Fanboy is not a "name". Its an accurate descriptor for certain types of behavior, much like you use the word "whiner" to refer to people that choose to speak out.

Ubisoft are not the ones making post after post after post after post making the same tired points.
True. I would guestimate it's coming from legit owners who bought a partially defunct product with an even more defunct and malevolent DRM implementation. Customers who get unnerved by not being able to use the product at a time of their choosing. As long as UBI is unable (unwilling?) to get their act together, how can you expect people not to go ballistic on the issue?
