Not before yesterday I discovered the legend-mode, where you play one player only, your alter ego. This and the changed perspective, putting you low and pretty much right on the field, always looking at the opposite goal/ball, is completely new to me in the way it is implemented here, and makes a lot of fun. Very immersive.
Too bad that I cannot get any of the Bundesliga patches for PES 2009 PC anymore, all links for the two different patches there are, are dead. I'm just about the logos, names, and shirts. I do not consider getting PES2010 which has licences for the German clubs, since it is faster again. But the slower pace of PES is exactly what I like. I alos read PC players bashing the 2010 version, but hailing the 2009 version, and 6 (which i also knew, but I like 2009 MUCH more, it has cured all objects of criticism I had with 6). I have no console here, and I do not consider to get one again (I had a PS1 very long time ago). Interesting handling concept on the Wii, nevertheless. I wonder how it works witch dribblings 1-on-1.

PES has been going down, but having said that I still find myself preferring PES because their gameplay is simply still more realistic.I can't take FIFA seriously if they insist programming the ball on the invisible string. It's like they've never played the game before.
