So let me understand, someone, probably Etheberge will be able to clarify....

Emblems are mirrored thats good for some things but with text or numbers not so good right? Can we unmirror all of them or just specific ones? I think i missed the howto on this.

I have about 40 emblems added so far and selectable from the menu, all with descriptions and a little history of the associated U-boats.

When complete I expect to have about 100 emblems, including Crew emblems, flotilla emblems and some very nice custom emblems gracefully provided by Gunfighter.

Precisely, text or numbers are mirrored. I haven't personally seen it in SHV but I'm almost positive it's like that again. If you have access to a boat in your campaign other than a VIIA that has emblems on both sides, you can choose the default emblem with the Dices (it has text) and see for yourself. I'm sure the text on it will be flipped.

AFAIK, the only solution anyone found is to add an extra flat object on the side of the 3d model of the conning tower and to overlay a second instance of the emblem texture on that flat object. There was a few issues with that solution too I think. Unfortunately that is beyond my capabilities for now. Maybe in the future.

Thankfully not many emblems have text or numbers in them so I can live with it.

Will you make a version that excludes the ones that came with the game. I don't mean to offend anyone that did win that contest but, I don't see the point in haveing them there. Or if you could tell me their names ( file names) so I could delete them myself, Id thank you. I've looked for them,switched one to my custom emblam, but can't find all of them, and can't change the name of the one I did switch.

. It'll probably be about 2 hours before I post the first version.

So far it looks like the first version will have all the individual U-boats emblem I intend to include (about 60-65, for VIIA's, VIIB's, VIIC's and VIIC/41's). The second version to come later will have the crew and flotilla emblems and some custom ones from Gunfighter.

Haha, I see we have a couple of early bird that saw the mod in the download section before I even finished writing the new thread with the [REL].
