SH3CMDR can activate the mods for you at the appropriate time.
This mod looks very good; will you release the changes for the other boats?

Magic1111,
There are probably several ways to do it. The one I use is cumberson as I don't really understand how to use the config files of SH3CMDR.
The first thing to do is install JSGME in the CMDR folder. Then you make the files in the way you want, and install them into the CMDR mod file.
The file you introduce into the file structure of SH3CMDR is the date folder.
You select the date you want the files installed into SH3 and set the file structure for the SH3 data folder which you include in the CMDR date folder.
I have a mod called "War Radio" which uses this file structure. The best way to understand how this works is to download the mod and study it.

I am currently testing another major mod, and I don't have the time to make the files for doing this; perhaps I might in a while when the high resolution mod is finished, and release it as an addon.

Hi,

Fantastic mod thank you, I tried the first version and it was fine but the new download has CRC errors, I tried from both download links.

Best regards

thanks all for your good words. We should run a campaign called "welcome back to sh3" for our friends that strayed......

Flakmonkey, I was thinking this all along. I plan on testing this today. I think this has a potential to look really good. I would adjust the textures if needed to work well with your lightmaps, so they work together well

thanks seawolf, I will update my posts

SH3CMDR can activate the mods
Irish, this is brilliant, will look into it because then the possibilities for textures changing over time would be wide open!

DL'ing now but any chance of a version for a Type IX anytime soon?
yukonjack,

thats a good suggestion, if there is a demand I can make versions for type 2 and 9 since most of the hard work is done in my .psd files
