Hmm, didn't let me preorder without a proxy. With a proxy no problem though.

On the other hand my brother is telling me not to make this mistake, buying from D2D. Suggests me to wait for Steam...

Any quick experiences? We won't be having troubles with patching/reinstalling and burning the install file to a DVD and all that?

Never had problems with D2D purchases. Steam has had problems with Silent Hunter in the past though.

Exactly ubi store basically is a cosmetic change of Direct2drive, ya still no clickable download button maybe its just not unlocked yet but then again why would it say download now, Epic Fail who ever forgot to put the quarters in the Server Mainframe

Well im going to play some bad company 2 on the mothership and keep refreshing with the laptop either way looks like wont be playing until tommorrow as the game will probaly take forever to download

Ive never had any problems at all with Direct2Drive and i save all my games to a external drive instead of a cd.
