Hi there mate...

The sound it is cool however,
It looks to me that the extra boat env sounds are
stronger then the engine start itself.

I can imagine the sound that a diesel engine
would make back on those days, and more inside
a closed place, The starting engine itself should
be louder and stronger in your mood it is to low...

This is just my 2 cents mate.

Great work anyway!
Yep, i think the same!
But since there wasn't any Dieselroom Mod at the time i created my Das Boot Mod it was ok, now we have a Dieselroom and we can change and Mod the Sound wich way we like.
Perhaps i make this Sound as an Extra Patch for the Dieselroom User that uses my Das Boot Mod too, but first we shall wait until FM released his Final Version.

Yep, I think the same way,

After FM and DD release their work, then you can work better
and make a much more real diesel sound to fit with it, It is not
the time, and you have the skill to do it , so it is a matter of
time until you can really work on it!

Hi, sorry for the lack of informations since 01-29 :

At first, many thanks for your helps.

1 - I need some times for tuning "my" sound, as i meet the same problem as in SH4 's modded "Crash dive" sound (sound and game are differents, but trouble is exactly the same) : this sound is played one times per session, never more. I Don't know why, i need some times to solve that...maybe the modded sound needs to be exactly equal in time ?

2 - As Flakmonkeys intends to do an animated 3D diesel engine, i'm waiting for the final reliable FM version before applying "my" diesel startup sequence to his beautiful work. It needs a great startup sound !!! Please, please, let me do it !!

So now, my next attempt is to "create" a moded sound exactly the same as stock sound in duration, bitrate, frequencies, etc, etc.

Maybe the trouble is that i merged splash sound (when the sub emerges) and diesel startup from "Das Boat" ?

Regards,

Ar Nahud II l'Excommunié
