SH4 has me raging

Just as the title says, the game has me simply pissed off to no end I've installed the game just fine on Windows 7, and some mods like OM on top of it. Everything was done as per recommendations on these forums. Started my career and everything was going well. For the last couple of days I've been able to play without any problems whatsoever. Then today, for some reason, the game simply refuses to load any saved games. I have four saves going while I'm out on patrol, plus there are several saves that the game creates automatically whenever you return or about to leave your home port.

So I try to load one of my latest saves, which was while I was out on patrol. The game CTD. So I try the next one down, another CTD. I go through all the saves I've created during my patrol, and all are CTD. Now I try to load one of the saves just before I left the port on that same patrol. It finally loads, thank god, but wait a minute, something is very wrong. When I go to look at my crew, they are all missing. There's not a single crewman on board, and I can't add any either. I try starting the patrol anyway, however, my boat is still without any crew whatsoever and of course I can't give out commands because there's no one there to carry them out.

This is just incredible. I mean what the hell happened to my game? I've been playing it just fine for two days. Everything ran fine, the saves were loading without problems, and now this

PS - can some please tell me how to make a screen shot in SH4?
