That plot description looks like it came from Wikipedia so it must be true! Or maybe not.

This is the IMDB plot description:

A group of adventurers refloat a WWII German submarine and prepare to use it to pull a very large heist; The Queen Mary which they plan to rob on the high seas.

Ha, you have to think how rusted the boat would be.

The torrent for this avi sucks.
Let it run overnight and woke up to a whopping 38%. Screaming 4.5kbps.
Oh well good thing I'm stubborn.

I saw this movie myself long ago on public TV here in Spain. But I was so young I don't remember the details anymore, just the general plot. Would like to see it again, just out of curiosity .

In any case, this is a thread for the films forum -where it was already mentioned IIRC- so I'm moving it, but leaving a redirect here.

TCM (Sky & Virgin Media) occasionally broadcast this movie in the UK, so it might be worth checking their listings from time to time to see if they are going to show it again. I remember seeing it last year, but that wasn't the first time I've seen it, I saw it first as a kid some 30 odd years ago and was impressed, but was rather disappointed when I watched it again last year.
