Nice work Steamwake.
Well I didn't feel like getting put into the brig for posting massive hooter pics.

On the more serisous topic I totally agree that it is my responsiblity as a parent to educate my children on safe browsing and what content they see. I don't belive in products like NetNanny or the like and I don't want the governtment being my NetNanny either.

The real issue is not so much the access, but mroe the process by which it is being done. The blacklist of intenet sites being filtered will (until it is leaked again), remain a secret, unlike the list of books or films that are refused classification in Australia.

If ther process were open and people had a say in it I think it might be less abrasive. As it stands now, I'm dead against it.

I'm really still stunned when I hear about stuff like this happening Down Under. I know it's partly due to stereotypes I've been exposed to, but it's not the kind of thing I'd expect to go over in Australia with what I imagine to be the "typical Aussie" (of course there probably is no such thing, but you know what I mean).

It's not the kind of thing that's acceptable anywhere, IMO.

You might not want to say that to her face. Could be hazardous to your health.
