This was the method they used for SH4, no previews, just demos, and as you know, SH4, while a decent game, was very buggy and unfinished upon release. Most of the problems were addressed in patches later, but there is no assurance that Ubisoft will support SH5 the same way, unless it sells like crazy, and unfinished games usually don't sell very well.

I am assuming Ubisoft expect to continue profiting from this title with DLC, this will probably include some of the bug fixes much the same as Uboat missions in SH4.
