Default Any of u watching "The World at War" on the Military Channel?

They've been showing it.

It's made a shade under 30 years after the war, which allows:

1. interviews of people high up in their respective power structures, while still young enough to retain their faculties

2. long enough after for sober analysis of the events discussed

I think it's about the best documentary made about WW2, so far.

Its a fascinating series with first hand accounts.

A very important piece that needed to be made when it was.

I own the set 11 dvd's.

Got the boxset for Christmas but haven't had time to watch it yet. It is a remarkable piece of television; one of the finest documentaries ever made IMO.

Yep. It's only in North America, probably. However, I'm sure there are many avenues by which one may see the documentary in question.

Does it start with a short intro and a burning The World at War text? If it does it can found on youtube as well.
