No. The energy bar starts to go down slowly. Once you're back above 165 it recovers.

it only recovers when you find the floating barrel health kits for your sub.

It makes little difference but with the introduction of the unimaginative DRM, UBI just lost a sale. Perhaps if it's patched out I'll reconsider, SH5 has too much working against it at the moment for me.

Shame

cant believe it...negative sounds from the grandfather of subsim community...this is frightening. same as the facts do to me...

but...guys. face the reality. ubi tries to reach the great masses with some kind of "interactive movie play". sit and relax on your sofa, while shootin at some ships. thats fun for the whole familiy.

nice.

but nothing for us. which is not wondering me any more. but i cant get over the cheekieness, some developers have, to make us hope, in getting a good subsim.

there must be a great amount of surprises, to make this true.

I can easily understand if the company tells us if we want the level of detail and realism we ask for we should not expect it to come in a single package that includes all platforms and to expect to pay for each additional platform added to the sim. In many ways I think this would take some of the pressure off from the penny pinchers and really let the devs run with the ball for a change.

Maybe this is where it's heading. Of course this is not a "one size fits all" solution for every type of sim out there but for subs it seems like a good idea. And I'm not saying it would have to be one platform at a time either. It could be for a group or something like that. In essence, an upgrade or add-on but at a more detailed level.

Books have been sold in chapters...why not sims?

We're all feeling a bit let down now. What a kick in the nads. This latest round of news is like - finding out the girl of your dreams - used to be a man or some jazz.

Hitman has one of the best ideas yet. Step away from the computer. Go camping, fishing, build or fix something - not another computer.

silent hunter turns into a platform like FSX and then commercial subs/addons/scenery by 3rd parties are developed and sold.
