It's looking more and more like it just might be enough! The Saints are letting it slip out of their hands.

The Vikings dominated in every statistical category but the Saints kept the game close by forcing six fumbles and two interceptions.

Congratulations Saints, you deserve the win.

Next year... Cowboys all the way.

...and I thought the Ravens had the market cornered on self destruction. I knew it was lights out when they went to overtime.

I was wrong about Dallas.

I was wrong about the Jets.

But I was right on the money about Brett "throw it up for grabs on the last play of a big game" Favre.

Now, the endless tabloid news about his retirement/coming out of retirement. Favre brings the pro wrestling element to the NFL.

The vikings tried to give away the game on the last few plays of regulation, then again in overtime. The Saints refused to take it.

Finally, the refs gave it to the Saints on the "completed pass" call. That ball was moving around and hit the ground. By rule, with the ball moving thats an incomplete pass.

I was also wrong about the Jets. I lived in Upstate NY in the late 70's and my wife to be had 'ol #12 on the ceiling over her bed. I felt used, . I was just reminiscing...........

...only if that moving isn't in control of the reciever. That's one of the new rules this year.

How come you don't like Farve? He got his team to the championship game. That's something my Patriots were unable to achieve this year. Not bad at all for a forty something...
