If you've added the ship (or ships) to the roster correctly for whatever nation you want them in, then getting them to show up in game is a rather easy thing to do, though it can be tedious, depending entirely on the campaign files.

Assuming were talking about your standard traffic (troop, tanker, cargo), open whatever files are apporpriate for that unit type. (in the stock campaign files there are 3 different file types to look at, merchant, troop, and convoy).

In each of these files there are what is called random groups. Select one, right click, and define group contents. Now, if the campaign files your using are specifying SPECIFIC ships by name in these random groups, you've got alot of work ahead of you. You'll have to specifically add your new ships by name to each entry you want it to appear in.

If the campaign files are using generic entries, then it's basically going to spawn a random ship of whatever unit type there. (generic tanker, generic troop transport, generic cargo), in which case, you don't have to do anything, the game will randomly spawn it for you.
