Isn't that the truth? When 'Tiberium Wars' came out I thought "Wait...what?", I mean, ok, we've got the Scrin now, that's been hinted on for years but...I dunno...it's just not the same.

Westwood kicked ass. I used to love the CnC games. Only played the demo for CnC 3, didn't like it. Was only a demo though *shrug* and I was a sore loser. I remember setting out to kick a lot of ass with a whole bunch of infantry. They got squished by a tank and I quit. That's all I remember.
I did play Red Alert 3 though. RA3 was a lot like softcore porn. I get excited and hang around for something cool to happen. Then when something cool does happen, it only lasts for about a minute before it gets boring again. Also, there are hot bimbos with porn-quality acting skills. I'm not saying it was a horrible game, but compared to others I was playing at the time, it did not hold my interest. Haven't touched it since I beat one campaign and played some skirmish. I can't believe how quickly I gave up on it as I did love parts 1 and 2. RA3 was just...boring to me. |

I have the same thing with C&C3. Bored out of my skull.
![]() Good thing I only picked it up last week at a very reasonable price. ![]()

I was never into the C&C universe. I've been a Red Alert fan. I do like RA3, but it definitely isn't a Westwood creation. I played RA2 (with YR) for years afterwards. I played RA3 for a couple weeks and that has been it. I don't expect much more out of EA. The C&C games used to be really good, but not anymore. RA3 is probably my last EA game I ever get.

I'm just the opposite. Didnt like RA3 at all, the other's were ok, especially RA2 kept me busy for quite some time. Still play the C&C games now and then (except for C&C3, which I dont think was bad, but they neglected the story in it).

I'm all for the Westwood releases till RA2
after that...for me its utter crap they released. my personal favorite is C&C Tiberian Sun....when that game was released in the stores I scrambled all my savings and got it immediatly. and played it on the first day till I had a horrible headache in the end. ![]() HunterICX
