Is it the same set of files that has, erm, been floating around since mid-Sep 2005, or is it a newly created set of files?

Same set I'd imagine. Nothing newer currently available as far as I know.

Is BtS open for registration ?

It should be sometime this evening. They said it would take somewhere between 24 - 48 hours to process, and it's been at least 36 hours.

Also, I'm trying to figure out if I can transfer all the old registrations from the old site and save everyone from having to register again.
