[REL] DBSM Addon Yes Sir Patch!

DBSM Addon - Yes Sir Patch!

[Deutsch]

[English]
Inspired by WAC I came to the ideato give the "Yes Sir" "Jawohl Herr Kaleun" another chance, since I always delete them otherwise. So I searched again in the TV Version of Das Boot in every place where a crew member says "Jawohl Herr Kaleun", and only found a few that are suitable. I mixed them Clean and added some background noises to made them a little longer.
I hope you like them, I like to use them, and fit well into any DBSM, and my Addon.

Another Tip: Just delete all "Yes_Sir" from the folders 1-9, or you hear otherwise in some cases even the standart sounds that do not fit naturally with the new one's.

Question:

Which DBSM sound file do you use?

I have on my external HD:

1) DBSM_SH4.7z 123 MB.
2) Sailor_Steve_DBSM.7z 101 MB.
3) Thomsens_Sound_Pack_V3.rar 348 MB.
4) A lot of different sound mods.

Thanks!

I have my own Das Boot Sound mod, I have make my own DBSM mixed from the existing one's, and my Addon. But the Yes_Sir should go with every DBSM.

Ok I had some time to waste so I looked into it
The link on your sig is fine
The direct link you gave in you first post which is the one I used has pop-ups on it one of these pop-ups try’s to place a downloader Trojan on your system when it opens
That is what my Eset Smart security (Nod32) is detecting and now my I.E is blocking it also.
Strange that Firefox didn’t block it and as for Mcafee well there you go.

Back to subject now

I have a strong dislike for all of those, both in SH3 and SH4. The way it's done is very un-navy-like and just wrong.

If you give the order for, say, ahead flank, no-one is going to say "Yes, sir!" and then give the order to someone else. When the captain gives the order the man in that position repeats it, and that's all. In the US navy he'll follow it with "aye, sir".

I've always found it just plain silly to hit the 'C' key and then have the LI calmly say "Jawohl Herr Kaleun" and then turn around and shout "Alarm!"
