I've downloaded it with about 1100 kB/s
Too bad it needs a video card with shader 3.0 - even as minimum system requirements. The game runs, but the water looks kinda weird - on my brand new notebook. Then again, I bought it for writing my essays and not for playing

Damn it, I used to max my line from filefront before the site died and came back to life, now I get 100kbps. 270kb from gamershell is the best i get at the moment.

I dragged out the original tropico last night and played a while.

Its still a fun game but I was supprised and reminded just how much of it had been 'lifted' from Railroad tycoon II. From menu layouts to sounds.

Tropico at that time was by pop top whom were the remnants of gathering of developers or GOD if you will. All of which were under Sid Miers.

So I ask is Sid or anyone from GOD still involved with the project?

Tropico is the only game sound track I have on my I-pod. I hope the origonal music is still there.

Tropico 3 is developed by Haemimont Games, I have no idea if any of the developers of the original Tropico is involved.
