While I don't doubt what you say is true I just rarely have the patience by the time the patrol is finally over. Hard enough to find time to play the game at all with real world stuff going on.

I've done the docking thing once but playing time is limited and I prefer to get as much time at sea as possible. Coming home, I get within 25km of port and teleport the rest of the way. Same thing with starting a patrol-I use SH3Commander to start the patrol at sea. ![]()

I just returned to port in Wilhamshaven, and slowly backed my VIIB into its slot. Was very difficult due to the heavy rain, and the fact it was a moonless night; the visibility was horrible.
