Yes the 'link data' and helos radar will not "Merge" together with the OHPs. The OHPs individual sensors will though (radar, towed, hull passive/active etc.)

I like trying to play with link data off as I find it to powerful (and messes the screen) but... Cept for incoming missiles. To me the 'link data' is the best one to lock onto with a SAM. So it ends up I play with link data on and off depending on circumstances.

Once you get used to it you can still have a lot of fun but I'm hoping the patch Will address some of this...
