Instead of having just one screen as in the subs that goes 360 degrees (including shadow zone), you have 22 screens, each one of them analyzing only one sector of the 360 degrees around the frigate. A specific contact can only be in one screen at any one time. Of course it can pass from one screen to another because of relative motion between the frigate and the contact but you will never have the same contact appear in 2 screens at the same time (unless somehow he has the gift of ubiquity). |
