Different nationalities tend to settle in different areas. For example, a lot of the Hmong (Vietnamese) people who came to the US after the Vietnam war settled in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Ethiopian people tend to congregate around DC.

Hmong actually came from Laos.....ask Azn_132 in the forums, he's Khon Lao not Hmong though...plus, a lot of people don't know how did the Hmong came to the US *cough*The Secret War*cough*.
