USPS gets worse and worse

I cringe whenever I order something and I find it was shipped USPS. I ordered a couple used books on Amazon back on Monday. The seller is in the Detroit area. That is only a 3 hour drive from where I live. They still aren't here. A few months ago I ordered a battery charger and SDHC memory card from Amazon. They were shipped from one of Amazon's warehouses in the Detroit area. They were shipped via USPS and it took over a week for them to travel 3 hours northward.

When you get something from UPS or FedEx you know you can get it in a timely fashion, even if it is shipped cross country on a truck.
