I had to wedge myself into a space behind the starboard diesel to get this shot. Still, I think it came out good.

Gauges in the after engine room.

After engine room, looking forward.

Main propulsion guages in maneuvering room.

The after head.

Three shots taken from Lionfish's deck.

With only about 30 minutes to go, I didn't have much time to explore the Kennedy.

Five shots taken in DD-850's engine room and No. 2 fire room.

The ASROC launcher.

The after half of the ship as seen from 02 Deck.

The bow of the ship, also from 02 Deck. I was tempted to step over the chain blocking the ladder to 03 Deck...but I guess I'm just not much of a rebel!

Looking down at the water from 02 Deck.

Kennedy's foremast.

Lionfish's stern.

Another shot of the Lionfish and Hiddensee.

JPK Jr. acquires a new friend.

Time to say goodbye.

The last shot I took, showing the awards and commendations under Kennedy's bridge.

One of the Massachusetts's 19-ton bronze-manganese propellers.

A few parting shots. These might have come out better if the sun wasn't so damned bright.
