Using XP

Tried also with GWX, with the same result. Might be some of the settings in my videocard?

Never mind, don't worry as I have planned a clean reinstall soon, and I feel my OS is already full of crap (Have a backup and do periodically a clean reinstall of XP+utilities and software). I'll see if the problem persists after that.

No no its fine i am glad you have said about this ..
i just checked out the Scene.dat file and yes i can work on it
the size shown in you picture i soooo small and no halo.
im not one to say get on with it
its about time i revamped the mod give me some time ok
i will post here if i find anything or improve something
i cant cause the problem you have but that wont stop me trying

Ah have you changed the screen resolution to a higher number

I Notice that the Stock is 334MB and the Full is only 197MB? I am running GWX so I am guessing that all I need is the full.

yes the stock version is for People just playing SH3 without GWX
so the full will do you

Ok it was thrown my way that there is a slight problem with the sun halo
When the mod is running in GWX….I never had this but that don’t mean
Im not going to do something about it …No Sir I remember someone else
Just turned his back and stuck his head in the sand…
But that’s not the attitude her on BtS-mods.com

this is a stock SH3 picture
the GWX version should show a bigger Sun/Moon i hope

This version Also has Team Gumpsom Wakes/foam mod

its not up for download as yet final testing going on

Nope...first thing when I test something new is to disable anything non-stock. I will make a clean install of vanilla SH3 and see what I get. If the sun still doesn't work well, this could help narrowing the problem down to my videocard.

The thing I like most from your mod is the colour...

OLCE original one was to my liking, but OLCE Gold went to clearer colours, same as GWX, and I prefer darker ones. WAC water suits more my taste, but it was a bit too dark

Of course this is all a matter of personal taste, but hey, I wanted badly to find a water mod that suited mine
