Interview.. Akella's other new naval sim ... City of abandoned ships
RPGdot.com has an interview with Akella on City of abandoned ships their "other" forthcoming naval game.
Very Interesting to see a committed group of modders turn into professional game developers, very beneficial to the game I suspect as they will know exactly where the flaws were and have a real passion for the material. Perhaps the our modders will be working alongside the Ubi devs before long! Also interesting to note that the new game is based on Pirates of the Caribbean's engine rather than the later "Age of Pirates: Caribbean tales."

Doesnt look so shoody. But if they keep the p.o.s. interface from the last game and stick to the stereotypes it's all useless - I want a hardcore aos sim, and not yet another silly game about pirates of the caribbean.
