You should be able to tell from the vectors that were used to calculate each intercept.
Notice the first leg is using an intercept calculated with a 15kt vector and the second leg (submerged) is a 4kt vector intercept. ![]() For this plot, we'd be on a 15kt surface run heading 235°T until we reach the attack station, then submerge and make our approach at 4kts heading 300°T. You may ask, "How do we know when we've reached the station?" Notice I used the TSD feature to determine the time of the 15kt surface run as 1 hour and 3 minutes.
