Well quiet if you have Silent Hunter 3 its a mod that makes the game alot more in depth. Almost like as if your captain puts on his own personna. We are hopeing someone will make something similar for sh4

SH3 Commander is an external tool that lets you:
Have a realistic career length (retire after 6-8 patrols)
Have a database of 42,000 actual u-boat crew names, giving over 1.7 billion possible name combinations
Award multiple medals at once, rather than the one each patrol in the stock game
Give a name, crew number and cargo type to each merchant you sink
Control time compression with the click of a button
Control wave height and gun reload times with the click of a button
Edit your patrol reports to say whatever you want
Give your kaleun a realistic-looking patrol log book, including a picture
Go to the nightclub and hear gossip, a la Das Boot and Aces Of The Deep
Start a career any month of the war
Start a career with some of your crew already experienced
Have crew member rotate out to other subs or be killed while on leave
Have random malfunctions happen to your boat
Have randomized loading screens (my mod)
Have date-based gramophone tracks, so they play at the historical times
Have date-based sub skins, so they change by themselves as time passes
