Well, the main FPS hogs are the 3D water surface, especially if it's animated, and the smoke/wake quality (which determines how long they last before fading away). AA and AF also have a large effect on FPS for slow machines. The other settings are either things you really don't want to tone down if at all possible (ship model detail and damage effects), or don't have that much effect. But I always kill lens flare, even though I have a top-end machine, because I'm looking through my eyes, not a camera ![]()

Did some tweaking again. Turning off water surface geometry indeed seems to have the most positive effect on frame rates.
