You're probably gonna have to edit the Flotilla.cfg file. Unfortunately it's been a while since I've done it so I don't quite remember all the details.

Ok thanks. I was looking at it earlier and thought I had it but in game I still had the Type VIIB. I'll look at it some more.

Stock flotillas were all messed up anyway

Off the top off head you will need to alter Flotilla cfg as well as Basic cfg
May well impact upon SH3commander too as commander is set up to use the VIIB

Kinda sorta not really.

SH3Cmdr doesn't set u-boats for any Flotilla, it simply grabs whatever u-boats are already listed in the game's Flotilla.cfg (a recurring theme ).

To get the Type II in Wilhelmshaven (2 Flotilla), all one needs to do is make the following changes to Flotilla.cfg:
Code:
NbUboats1=3
Uboat1_0=0
Uboat1_1=1
Uboat1_2=2
Done!

If one runs SH3Cmdr, it will then look like this:

which is a reflection of the player's Flotilla.cfg file.

The only impact this has on SH3Cmdr is that the "Use historic u-boat availability dates" feature will be ignored because the player is adding a u-boat type to a Flotilla that didn't have them historically. In other words, SH3Cmdr will use the availability dates (for the Type IIA and IID) that already exist in Basic.cfg, rather than correct historical dates.

Believe you me
SH3 flotilla cfg is a walk in the park compared to SH4 ones
