Apollo is going to help finish these as the time required to hex edit every freakin file for every version of the game takes WAY too much time.
I'm comtemplating writing a patcher application. This patcher application would just add the required hex code of whatever mod of mine you're wanting to your existing files. This way it wouldn't matter what version of the game you're using (WAC, GWX, etc.). Who'd be interested in trying it out if I made it? I would make it backup your existing files that it would edit so you can revert back to the unmodified ones if you wanted to......or have it automatically create a folder in MODS (for those using JSGME) and dump the modified files into it...  |
