Whats the error you are getting on CTD
For XP below

When the pop up appears after CTD click on the blue text " click here "

Hate stating/repeating the obvious but a clean install is probably your best way forward

Yep, did that last night. Hopefully all goes well with the new install.

@ BBW: XP, didn't even think about checking the error mesages... Well, if they pop up again, I'll try to remember that. :hmm:

So I copied my career files over to my new install, and when I went to load the latest save (In port, for what it's worth) I noticed that the Type XXI was listed as my submarine... This in November 1939, when the IXB is big news. Unsurprisingly, it crashed while loading the patrol. I'm going to delete the folder in My Documents and see if a new career will work out.

So guess who came to visit! That's right, Dr. Watson, Postmortem debugger!

My current career has been going fine, up until Patrol #7. CTD while loading patrol, with the same error as before. (See above post for info) Nothing changed since last patrol, no new mods or files, etc. :hmm: Tried starting the patrol several times, same thing. I wonder if my computer dislikes me.
