Well, I have Vista 64 as well. Dunno about the "Ultimate" though and I have worked on SH3 for months without being able to fix it. This is the reason why I now got SH4, lol.

About reading the disclamer above; I think you should. If you dont know much about computor, better let it be.

And it´s not my intention to scare gamers away from Vista. I love Vista and actually think better of it then XP. But that was AFTER setting Vista up properly.

Hi JonB hope you don't think I was bashing your post in any way. I just think it's important for people to understand at least a little about security features before they go turning them off.

I know you were not scaring anyone from Vista . Check with Firewall and see how he got SH3 to run on Vista. As far as Vista. I have Home Premium actually. I have not had to fiddle around with the UAC at all.

I've had no problem getting both SH3 and SH4 to work on Vista. My problem was with the mod program JSGME, I think it is.

No problem, Q3ark. It IS important that ppl think twice about what they are doing. That´s what I wanted them to do with my three "Notes"

I´m really amazed that so many ppl got SH3 working on Vista. When I googled for solutions on how to solve that problem all I found was just that. Problems and no solutions. Some ppl said it wasn´t possible with the 64 bit version of Vista... I´ll have a look with Firewall when I´m gonna install SH3 again...

I did at first also. A little screwing around and zingo.

I wish I could explain how I did it.

JSGME worked first try. I install JSGME inside the main SH4 folder. Perhaps that is the key?
