And I thought that series was gone forever.

Christian Bale is great in batman, he should ad allot to this movie.

If you want to see how good CGI is now check out the Transformers movie, with the advancement they have now Terminator should be great.

Yup I have it. Its a shame my old collection of transformers are destroyed. They would have been valuable items today.

I like Terminator more though. Even the first 2 aliens also kicked butt.

Man those where the days for good movies.

Not to forget Predator hehehe.

My cuisine has the terminator series original comics in acid proof packages boxed. Man we used to read the stuff. Continuing the Connor stories and some.

They have media player files to play below the quicktime.

Good find OneToughHerring.

Last one is very cheezy. :rotfl:

You named the best movies ever! Why don't they make them like this anymore? I am not compelled to go spend money on the next Pirates of the Caribbean XVIII. Mind you, #1 was good, but they went downhill from there.

Back in the Terminator and Predator days, you know what i miss? It was the end of the story. They didn't plan it out for 13 releases or until it flops. They didn't leave you hanging at the end of the story.

I think this is what turned me off to movies - leaving you hanging at the end of the story like James Bonds last film, and probably his newest one too. I feel like I wasted my time because I came into the movie and then had to leave half way through. I hate that.

They are doing that it games too. Crysis comes to mind.

Yea end it already...I liked the Matrix series and LOTR, Star Wars etc but if that was the way it was originally intended I think that works but to just try to keep a good movie going artifically when it was not intended to be that way I don't like it.

No Ahnuld, no Terminator. This movie will probably be really good. Imagine the old terminator movies with no Arnold, they would have just been bad sci fi B movie that come on late night TV.

You guys bring good arguments. I hate it but I have to agree with you. Subman your totally right. What was I thinking?

Well at least they should take to a new direction maybe change the name? :hmm:

But if the writing is good and the actors can pull it off they should get the chance...

But we all know that is very rare feat in Hollywood.

I kinda wished to see Michael C. Hall in this movie as leading character but Bale is a good choice

I couldn't agree more. The Terminator was a closed loop, with the photograph a perfect ending. I wasn't such a fan of Alien or Predator, but what you say still holds true.

Another brilliant original that was actually ruined by the sequels: Planet of the Apes.

Which sequels are you talking about SS. Original Planet of the Apes series or the last one that flopped few years ago?

I can tell you what movie really disappointed me was Battlefield earth 3000. Not a sequel but really poorly written conversion from the book which I like a lot.

It looks like it will be a great movie! And the way it is filmed (More silver to give it an out of place look) has been quite impressive!

One thing that is missing of course is the laser guns that were the hallmark of the battle scenes in the first 2 movies.

The show managed to screw it up to making them look like plasma bolts than laser shots but still I hope atleast at the end we some in action.
